The PM job is getting increasingly bombarded with extra work and burnout is prevalent. Using AI to augment your job will not only save time, it will hopefully create more user satisfaction in how you show up in your job every day.
By just starting, you’re going to add context that builds over time. The LLM will get better with the added context you give to adjust prompts to start giving the results you want. Imagine the LLM as a really enthusiastic intern - they’re always positive and want to get work done, but you sometimes have to channel what is good and what is not.
It’s not “letting the LLM do it”, it’s letting the LLM take a portion of the hard drafting work to let you do the fun idea work.
This should be a small number of frequently-used prompts (more than 1x/month) that are easily referenceable
Generating a co-pilot, project or custom GPT is not as hard as it sounds. It generally involves uploading contextual documentation and setting a system or project-level prompt to provide further personalization in the responses.
